The Basics - copy & paste!

What is it? The Tennessee Materials Marketplace is a facilitated transaction platform that connects businesses to develop and scale new reuse and recycling market opportunities.

How do I get involved? Go to tennessee.materialsmarketplace.org and click Get Involved in the top right corner. You’ll be connected to someone on the project team, and will then be asked to create an account on the platform at go.materialsmarketplace.org. Create individual listings for materials you have available or materials you need.

Why should I join?

  • Reuse and recycling is good for the bottom line. The Materials Marketplace has created over $800,000 in value for program participants across the US. Use our program to source cheaper feedstocks from by-products and recycled materials, and/or reduce landfill disposal fees.

  • The Marketplace keeps you connected to reuse and recycling opportunities, wherever you are. At your desk or on the go - the Materials Marketplace is mobile ready so you can post materials and track your activity at all times, whether that’s in the office or on the plant floor.

  • And we're not the old-school style waste exchange. The Materials Marketplace is activity monitored by some of the best reuse minds in the business, and we're constantly pushing out opportunities. And if you need assistance, we're just one click away.
